Online applications are invited form eligible candidates (Male & Female) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for filling the following vacant positions on regular basis in Peshawar Development Authority as per prescribed requirement/qualification.

Familiarity with GIS interrogation and tools like Leaflet or Mapbox will be an advantage. Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibly. |
02 | Assistant Director (GIS Specialist) (BPS-17) | 01 | 25-35 Yrs | Basic Qualification: At least 2 Class M.Sc. (GIS)/ BS (GIS/RS)/ BS in Geomatics (GIS/RS), Computer Science or equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/Institution. Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development and spatial analysis in a reputed government/private organization, software house, or company. Proficiency in GIS tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or R for GIS automation. Experience with web mapping tools such as Leaflet, Mapbox, or OpenLayers. Familiarity with spatial databases like PostGIS or Oracle Spatial is preferred. |
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. However detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority. 2. All the candidates will be required to create profile on ETEA’s website. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing fee for any post, such candidates will have to print E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and get their CNIC No. verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without such verification, they will not be able to apply for any post. 3. Interview calls letter will be issued to short listed candidates only. 4. Screening of candidates will be based on test conducted by ETEA. 5. Candidates should be eligible in all respects by the last date of receipt of the applications. 6. Incomplete applications and applications received after due dates will not be entertained. 7. The candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel. 8. Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with separate fee. 9. Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel/reject any application without assigning any reason. 10. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/Interview. 11. In case of foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided. 12. Errors/Omissions in number of posts are subject to rectification. 13. Age relaxation will be given as per government policy.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Interested candidates may first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online. 2. In case Honor’s/BS qualification candidate is required to give his marks (equivalency) instead of CGPA. 3. After successful submission of online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (having token number, position & candidate’s personal information) will be generated. 4. Take a printout of the generated deposit slip & deposit the prescribed test fee (non refundable) through Easypaisa app or Agent Jazz Cash or any branch of UBL Bank via UBL OMNI agent. 5. After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having bank desired stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else. 6. After online apply, don’t send documents/testimonials to ETEA office, copies of testimonials/documents will however, be provided by the candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny purposes. 7. A candidate intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post. 8. Availability of online Application Form on www.etea.edu.pk on 01″ Feb 2025, 9. Last date for submission of online Application Form is 15 Feb 2025, 10. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and Print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed to do not give ported/converted mobile number. 11. Test Date, Time & Venue will be mentioned on Roll No. Slip. 12. No separate Call Letter will be issued to candidates for screening test through postal/courier means.
