Job Details
Position: Director General (MIRAD)
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation of competitive electricity market policies.
- Handling bilateral power purchase agreements, regulatory affairs, billing, and settlements.
- Acting as the primary interface between IESCO and the Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM).
- Providing strategic direction to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including 10 years in the power sector.
- Strong knowledge of technical, commercial, financial, and regulatory aspects of the utility sector.
- Experience in CEO/Board-level interactions is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
- Market-competitive salary package.
- 3-year contract (extendable based on performance).
- Age limit: Up to 60 years.
