1. Principal Officer, Mercantile Marine Department (MP-II, 01 Post)
   • Requirements:
     • Certificate of Competency as First Class Engineer (Combined/Motor) or Master of Foreign Going Ships.
     • Minimum 3 years as Chief Engineer or in command of ships (2 years for Extra First Class/Extra Master Certificate holders).
     • Experience as an Engineer/Ship Surveyor or Nautical Surveyor preferred.
   • Age Limit: 62 years.
2. Chief Engineer & Ship Surveyor, DG-P&S Wing (MP-II, 01 Post)
   • Requirements:
     • First Class Engineer Certificate (Combined/Motor).
     • 3 years as Chief Engineer (2 years for Extra First Class holders).
     • Experience in marine surveying or examiner roles preferred.
   • Age Limit: 62 years.
3. Engineer & Ship Surveyor, Mercantile Marine Department (MP-II, 02 Posts)
   • Requirements:
     • First Class Engineer Certificate (Combined/Motor).
     • 2 years as Chief Engineer (1 year for Extra First Class holders).
   • Age Limit: 62 years.
