Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MBBS Degree from a PMDC-recognized institution.
- Preferred: FCPS qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Relevant medical experience is desirable.
- License: Must possess a valid PMDC license.
- Residency: Must be a resident of Lahore to ensure 24/7 availability.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for:
- Attending emergency medical cases as required.
- Examining employees and referring them to specialists/hospitals when needed.
- Visiting hospitals to monitor treatment of NICL employees and dependents.
- Scrutinizing and endorsing medical bills from hospitals, chemists, and labs.
- Conducting medical examinations for newly recruited employees.
- Managing cases of chronic diseases.
- Overseeing medical facilities and controlling related expenses.
- Advising management on healthcare trends, safety measures, and preventive care.
- Providing telephonic/online support beyond office hours for emergencies.
Terms & Conditions
- This is a retainership-based position, not a permanent or contractual employment.
- The role requires daily attendance of 3–5 hours between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM at the NICL Lahore office.
- Service can be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or payment in lieu.
- Remuneration will be treated as a medical/administrative expense, with applicable withholding tax deductions.
