Phase 1: Step-by-Step ETEA Online Application Process

To prevent your application from being rejected at the screening stage, strictly follow this official step-by-step procedure:

Step 1: Profile Registration

• Navigate to the official ETEA portal at www.etea.edu.pk.
• Create a new candidate profile (or log into your existing one) and fill out all academic and professional details accurately.

Step 2: NADRA E-Sahulat Biometric Verification

• After saving your profile and before depositing any fees, print out the E-Sahulat token generated on your ETEA dashboard.
• Take this token along with your original CNIC to any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise or kiosk to get your identity biometrically verified.
• Warning: Without completing this biometric verification, you will not be allowed to apply for any post.

Step 3: Job Selection & Deposit Slip Generation

• Once verified, log back into ETEA, select the Shuhada-e-APS UOT Nowshera project, and choose the post you wish to apply for.
• Upon successful online submission, the portal will automatically generate a prescribed online deposit slip containing your unique token number, project code, and personal information.

Step 4: Fee Payment

• Deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee using the generated deposit slip.
• Payment can be made seamlessly via the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent, or at any physical branch of United Bank Limited (UBL).
• Crucial Note: Retain the original stamped deposit slip (candidate copy) safely at all times. Do not share it with a third party.

Note on Physical Documents: At this stage, candidates are not required to send any physical documents, transcripts, or testimonials to the ETEA office.

Phase 2: Post-Test Selection Procedure

Earning a slot on the merit list requires following up properly after the screening test. Here is how the transition from ETEA to the University works:

1. Passing Threshold

Only those candidates who score 50% or more marks in the ETEA screening test will be considered eligible to submit a formal application directly to the university.

2. Physical Application Packet

Candidates who clear the 50% cutoff must download the formal job application form from the university website at www.uotnowshera.edu.pk/careers. You must fill out, sign, and compile this form with the following attested documents:

• Attested copies of all educational degrees and certificates.
• Transcripts / Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs).
• Official employment experience certificates.
• Domicile certificate (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).
• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• One recent passport-sized photograph.

3. University Processing Fee

Along with the physical application packet, you must pay a processing fee of Rs. 1,000/-. This must be deposited into the university’s bank account with the following details:

Terms & Conditions and General Instructions

• Provisional Status: Candidates are allowed to sit for the ETEA test provisionally. Detailed verification of your documents will be carried out by the University Appointing Authority later. If found ineligible at any step, candidates will be immediately disqualified.
• Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and mandatory attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
• Division Equivalence: For administrative positions, a 3.0 out of 4.0 CGPA will be treated equivalent to a 1st Division.
• Foreign Degrees: If you hold a degree from a foreign university, you must provide an equivalence certificate from the HEC or IBCC. Any non-English documentation must include an officially verified English translation.
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be evaluated and granted strictly in accordance with prevailing Government Rules on a case-by-case basis.
• Test Communication: No physical call letters or admit cards will be posted via courier. All notifications regarding test dates, times, and venues will be detailed on the Roll No. Slips, which must be downloaded directly from www.etea.edu.pk via SMS alerts. Ensure your registered mobile number is not ported or converted to another network.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance) will be admissible for the test, demonstrations, or interviews.
