Job Details & Eligibility Criteria

1. Director (Technical)

Education:
- Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Preference: Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a closely related field will be preferred.
Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of post-qualification experience in energy infrastructure, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects. Direct experience in handling EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts and donor-funded projects is highly preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.

2. Deputy Director (Contracts & Procurement)

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution.
- Preference: Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s Degree or professional certifications in procurement, such as PMP or MCIPS.
Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience specifically in procurement and contract management, ideally within the energy, transmission, infrastructure, public sector, or donor-funded project domains.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.

3. Deputy Director (Project Design & Engineering)

Education:
- Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Preference: Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in the design and engineering of transmission lines and substations. This must include active preparation and review of engineering drawings, design calculations, technical specifications, standards, and tender documents.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.

4. Deputy Director (HR & Administration)

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Human Resource Management (HRM), Public Administration, or Business Administration (HRM) from a recognized university.
- Preference: A Master’s Degree in HRM or a related discipline will be a significant advantage.
Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in HR management, administration, and corporate governance within public sector companies, private entities, or autonomous bodies.

5. IT Officer

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Preference: Candidates possessing relevant IT-focused professional certifications.
Experience: Minimum seven (07) years of post-qualification experience working in IT operations, infrastructure deployment, ERP/SAP deployment, or software systems management.

Remuneration, Tenure, and Work Conditions

Before applying, please carefully note the following service terms and organizational guidelines specified by EIDMC:

Salary Package: The compensation package is entirely market-based and negotiable. Final remuneration will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s specific qualifications and depth of experience.
Contractual Basis: All listed positions will be filled purely on a contract basis. The initial appointment is for a period of three (03) years, starting with a mandatory three-month probation period.
Extension Policy: The employment contract is further extendable, subject to satisfactory performance and the ongoing operational needs of the company.
Pension Scheme: The contract service shall neither be regularized nor is it pensionable.

Important Conditions for Applicants

PEC Registration for Overseas Engineers: Professionals currently working abroad who do not hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the PEC are still eligible to apply. However, if selected, the candidate must obtain and submit a valid PEC registration within the stipulated period to confirm their eligibility.
Government Employees: Candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Public Organizations are fully eligible to apply. However, they must route their application through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department, issued on its official letterhead.
Original Documentation: Candidates will be required to bring all original academic transcripts, degrees, experience certificates, and CNIC at the time of the interview. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for the final interview and selection process.
