• Review and Improve: Look at how cases are currently handled and figure out how to make the response quicker, safer, and better for the children involved.

Who are they looking for? (The Requirements)

Because this is a high-level advisory role, UNICEF is looking for someone with deep expertise.

The Must-Haves:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 8 to 10 years of solid experience working on child protection systems, social work, or strengthening workforce capabilities.
• Language: Complete fluency in English.
• The Specific Knack: You need a proven track record of writing official technical manuals/SOPs and coaching teams.

The “Bonus Points” (Desirables):

• If you have worked with UNICEF or government partners before, that is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with Primero or CPIMS (specialized software systems used globally to manage child protection data) will give you a major advantage.
